Swedish Massage

Beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension. Promotes mental and physical relaxation, stimulates circulation, eases sore and tense muscles, and promotes regular sleep patterns. Perfect for those looking for relaxation and stress reduction.

Deep Tissue Massage

Similar to Swedish massage, but deeper pressure and slower strokes are used to release chronic muscle tension. Deep Tissue Massage has less emphasis on relaxation during the massage session and more emphasis on altering structure and muscle restrictions, while providing longer-lasting benefits such as alleviation of pain, and an increased degree of relaxation. Deep Tissue Massage is effective for chronic muscular tension and those in pain from day-to-day activities.

Medical Massage

Specifically treating painful conditions that have resulted from an injury or disease process using Deep Tissue Techniques.

Chair Massage

A short massage, anywhere from five to 30 minutes, done through the clothing. Typically focusing on key tension areas in the back, neck, shoulders and arms. Chair massage encourages better posture, an increase in circulation and relieves muscle pain and headaches. A great way to work out muscle tension before it turns into a full-blown spasm.

Orthopedic Cupping

A massage cup and it’s respective equipment creates a vacuum seal whereby soft tissue can be picked up and moved gently. At very light pressure levels, this method is an effective way to perform lymphatic drainage massage. At higher pressure levels, massage cupping creates a strong vacuum that will mimic the rolling action of deep-tissue massage, often without discomfort. The movement may be long and intended to drain fluid and toxins, circular and stimulating for stubborn knots and areas of rigid tissue, or held in static compression in areas that harbor Trigger Points. Massage cupping loosens adhesions, lifts connective tissues, and brings blood flow to isolated, stagnant, and congested areas of skin and muscles.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release uses specific techniques to help your body heal properly from injuries and can restore range of motion. Graston technique, a form of instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) also known as Myofascial Release Technique. It allows specifically trained practitioners to detect and treat areas of scar tissue or “adhesions” that build up in muscle tissue, tendons, and ligaments resulting from injuries and overuse.
